Released on October 22, the album brought together the likes of Testament's Chuck Billy, former Iron Maiden singer Paul Dianno, Phil Campbell of Motorhead and Guns N' Roses axeman Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal as they paid tribute to the King of Pop through some of his greatest hits. Producer Bob Kulick seemed quite satisfied with the final 13-track outcome, saying that MJ was clearly properly honored. "We made these awesome songs kick ass while still being faithful to the original versions," he explained. "Add killer players like Doug Aldrich, Billy Sheehan, Bruce Kulick, Rudy Sarzo, Tony Franklin, Craig Goldy, Bumblefoot, Phil Campbell and you've got some real magic!"
